Accoustic Oil Bottles for Deafness

One of the earliest and most successful patent medicine makers of the 19th century was David Jayne. He was born in PA in 1798/99 and later spent the bulk of his career making medicines in Philadelphia. Much has already been written about the Dr Jayne medicine business and I wont attempt to repeat it here. *JAYNE'S* EARLY YEARS
D. JAYNE SALEM N.J. Probably one of the earliest Jayne's bottles. After studying medicine at the University of Pennsylvania and achieving his medical degree, Dr. David Jayne started a practice in Cumberland County and then Salem County, New Jersey around 1822/25.	Dr Jayne started introducing his famous medicine products around 1831. He moved to the "big city" Philadelphia to make his fortune around 1836. His first address was a drug store at #20 South Third Street.
