Mh-lkr Dear Sir: I do hereby certify, that I have been afflicted with Dyspepsia for the last 4 or 5 years, which has been increasing on me even since, to such a degree, that for 3 or 4 weeks previous to using your valuable Garlegants Balsam of Health, I am certain 1 have not eaten one ounce a day of any kind of diet, neither was I able to sleep with any kind of comfort during this time, for a severe pain in mj stomach; in fact I had given myself up as incurable as I have had recourse to so many different remedies without any kind of benefit, I at length heard of your Balsam of Health, being advertised, I purchased a bottle of your agent Wm. Miller ij Winchester Va. After taking the three first doses I found my stomach to retain in some degree what I eat, and the pain in my stomach subsiding gradually, and after using one and a half bottles, I found myself entirely well, and have eat any thing 1 have an inclination for and sleep well atuigbt. It was surprising to see the quantity of morbid matter 1 discharged from my stomach, which I once inclined to believe was coated thick with it, which no doubt rendered all diet indigestible. Given under my hand, this 1st day »f December 1836. JOSEPH KNAPP, Living near Winchester Va Certificate of Nicholas Weaver.
